Here are some feature criteria:It should have a:built-in webcambuilt-in micfast processorgood screen qualitymemory stick slot (optional)I want a laptop that has a good quality performance and thatit won't break nor have problems easily.I will only have it in my room and use it forstorage of school documents (MS Word),internet surfing (search engines, friendster)and chat (yahoo messenger). Please provide useful information regarding laptops since I am not so aware of these stuffs.I would appreciate it if you give me a brand and its specific unit that best suites my wishes. Thank you. Please do not give me shopping websites... I need someone who can compare laptops that they have actually used or have observed from friend's or relative's laptops....

Well, i suggest a MacBook. It has pretty much everything you want (except for the mike I think). It has the new Leopard System on it, so I'm sire it will be pretty dang fast. It starts at $1099 dollars and I'm sure you'll be pleased.

Word of Warning Laptops last roughly three years, repairs are expensive when they break, Its expensive to fix.So with that in mind, look on the back of the laptop and look up the serial number, then look it up on the website, with a little work, you can see if it is still under warranty, and when it was made. I would go with a used HP or Compaq these days. Think Pads are not made as good as they used to be and Dells, pretty much tick down to three years and fail. Sonys are trouble, ask anyone that has owned one and used it for business.
