I'm not a democrat, but do agree that Bill Clinton was a very good president (although I don't think his wife is going to be anything NEAR as competant). He was actually a fiscal conservative and had a very middle ground way about him leading to many of his successes.He wasn't a socialistic democrat (he reformed welfare) and he wasn't a neocon (he was between two neocons and managed to keep the country intact).Because I'm a mixture of the two parties, I will go out on a limb and say that both parties have good points and bad points and it's up to us to vote for a candidate who will best care for us Americans, whether that's a republican or a democrat.

No one from any political party wants to see poor people not have food. It is only a matter of how best to help them.Finance public services? Sir! The American Taxpayer finances EVERYTHING with their hard earned money.Decrease gas prices and restrictions? Sir, many of the problems with high gas prices are due to the Democrats. The Federal, State and Local governments collect far more of every gasoline dollar than the companies producing it. And restrictions? The Democrats have put many, many restrictions of what formulation of gasoline can be used in what States and have prevented the building of any new refineries for over thirty years. Denounce racism and acts...? When prominant Democrats such as Jesse Jackson is recorded using anti-semetic slanderous language in a public speech, where was the denunciation? Why is Senator Robert Byrd still serving in the Senate? Where is the outrage over what Louis Farrakhan preaches?For the people? For special interest groups, you mean. For the Red Chinese you mean. Better foreign realtionships? Sir, Madeline Albright was a complete disaster as Secretary of State. Businessmen and women? Like whom? Bloomberg or Corzine? Both made corporate raiders and dot com bubble billionairs.Protect the borders? You are of course joking!How does anyone "help real estate"?Progress in schools? America's public education was the envy of the world until Jimmy Carter created the Department of Education and the Federal Bureaucrats got their hands on it. Now we are surpassed by even third world countries.Security? Even the Democratic candidates know better than to go there. What ''more police" are you talking about? Check the record, sir. How many policmen did the massive money spent on the "hundred thousand police" program actually produce?Low crime rate? Look at NYC under Mayor David Dinkins and then under Rudy Guliani. Cut it out will you?If you tink Democrats promote job security look at the unemployment numbers under Jimmy Carter when the White House and Congress were controlled by the Democrats. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme. Bill Clinton did nothing about the Social Security crisis. And the unemployment rate only decreased after Newt Gingrich and the Republicans came to power in Congress.Women's rights? Ask Kathleen Wiley or Paula Jones or Juanita Brodrick or Genifer Flowers or poor Monica Lewinski how their rights were protected. No, thank you. I have no desire to be a Democrat. No !I don't think my hard earned money should be going to people who spit out kids just to get more welfare money.I don't think we should reward illeagal aliens with drivers liscenses just so they will vote for me.I don't like the idea of demeaning our troops during war time.I don't like the idea of calling our sitting president a liar.I don't think we should pay more taxes so government can keep their power.so yeah the answer is no !Mike...

Bush doesn't know the meaning of diplomacy.I'm a Democrat leaning towards libertarian.My first choice is Ron Paul, second choice is Barrack Obama. I think Amerca would be best served with a series of debates between these two!I hope Wes Clark is part of the next administration. VP or sec of defense.We need a president with good judgement, Bush is an idiot.

If you believe that the Government is there to solve all your personal, economical, professional, theological, physical, and emotional problems.....if you are for death, sodomy, and no consequences, you are a democrat. 2. If you believe in the human spirit, in hard work and a little sweat, in freedom, in life, in a creator who gave us life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.... and you are aganst racism, against genocide, and for protecting your way of life, you are a republican. hmmmm, uh, I think i'll be a republican.
