| My husband has an attoney and I am representing myself due to finacial inability. He has submitted a discovery form with all 2006 info, none of 2007. He is a real estate agent and I know for certain he has sold his first property in April of 07. What can I ask for of the court to make him submitt all updated finacial information? I asked for a continuance to retain an attorney, but was unable to do so after I realized his not giving accurate information. At this point do I turn in my discovery to the court, and contact his attorney to hear their settlement agreement; Or do I just turn in my discovery and wait to go to court? Also can I ask that he submitts all updated financial information to the court every month/year after the support is in place? Since his income will fluctuate, my intention was to ask for a set amount or the percentage of child support according to IL state laws, which ever is greater. Is this something I can do? |

| you need to check w/ your state and see if there is a legal aid program. No offense intended, but you're not qualified to handle this yourself and will and up getting the shaft. You could try to get him to pay for your attorney fees as well if your situation warrants this. Good luck girl, don't try to do this alone!!!!!! |
