Hi I'm in a lesson && i need to find out the background to blues music, includes slave trade, development of blues style and blues music today!!!Please reply quickly if you have a website or any info coz i have looked on loads of websites and i cant find anything!My teacher is a supply and v. grumpy so if i dont get this b4 3.30 i will be in BIG trouble! its 2.14 now.Please please please reply quickly!

It has been around long before slavery , the African tribes would beat the drum in the same way that you would hear a standard blues beat , they did this in their ceremonies and would dance to the beat ,
