I will graduate May 2008 with a degree in Finance, minor in Accounting. I currently go to school in Memphis, TN, but have definite plans to move to Nashville, TN (3 hours apart) as soon as I can get a job and moved after graduation. When do I start applying for jobs based on my major and relocation plans? Any advice for networking in a city you don't live in? I have 1 1/2 years of work experience in my fields, but it's all here in Memphis.

You should be applying now. It might even be a bit late. (Would have been nice if you had done some "intern" work this past Summer.) Check with your college "placement" office right away.

It's not too early at all. Start looking up employers in that region and bookmark their career pages and check them often. Many people hire candidates before graduation with an understanding that they will start at a certain date.
