I came on here today, and I noticed that I was a few points from level 3. So what happens now, do I get like a fruit basket, or something?I saw this question, and I thought that everyone would find it funny.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am5D_ieh7GZNkruhGieFF.RIzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20070826122352AADkHeNBTW, Thanks everyone for accepting the uptight, ignorant, or whiney me.My question: Did any of you ever think you would spend so much time on the Internet asking and answer questions in a hockey section of a search engine? Do you feel like you have learned a few things?

Actually no, i didn't.I kinda stumbled on here wondering what in the blue heck is Yahoo Answers and noticed they had a hockey section (my passion). Read some questions, read some posts and learned a few things. Saw questions i knew or had an opinion on, and I was off to the races in expressing my opinions. Soon it became kind of addictive and you start recognizing faces. Some you like, some you don't, some you can care less. There have been fun times, intense times, and boring times. Great place to root for your team during playoffs and a place to watch paint dry during offseason. I haven't been around for a while since the NHL season started but now that the season has settled down, with the Sharks putting together a few wins =), I am back to share the joys of all the other posters on here with their favorite teams and their views, opinions, knowledge, and personality. And let me be the first to congratulate you now for when you do reach Level 3!*Nevermind, looks like you ALREADY reached Level 3! Congratulations!*

What uptight, ignorant, whiney you? You're actually Sidney Crosby? ZING!!Actually, there are some things that I have no idea to search. For example, Erica asked a question last night in regards if Crosby was the youngest player to reach 250 points. I don't even know how to word that in the search engine and I certainly don't want to sift through three pages of porn sites just to find the answer. But, yeah, I know (not feel) that I have learned a few things about hockey that I never knew before, especially with LITY jumping on here in the summer.

I came by here the same way that TDK did, just sort of poking around when Answers first came to be. I answered a bunch of questions in a bunch of sections and got bored with it. I had surgery last year and in my down time, wandered back and came across the hockey section. I have been hooked ever since. I have definitely learned quite a few things here and I keep coming back for more whether it's some goofy obscure statistical trivia, peoples' opinions (outrageous, logic or just plain nuts) and basically because it's fun.

Well, being a Lightning fan automatically gets you into good graces with me!Congrats on level 3. I guess you can say that you are now 100% addicted.I've learned more about hockey (and its fans) here in this section than I could have anywhere else.

Of course I've learned a lot from this section, especially with LITY on it. I wonder if the NHL knows that someone with inside info is spending time on a public forum? Well, what they don't know don't hurt them, so shhhhhh lol

I kind of fell into the answers crowd. I don't even really remeber what first brought me here. I may have been and ad on my mail, but I have been here ever since. It's a fun way to pass time when nothing else is happening.

Haley I learn stuff when you ask questions because I go find the answers, Jean Beliveau today for instance.I started in the PC help Y! Answers section because it's what I do for a living but, it was pretty dull. When I discovered the hockey section I found something to occupy the empty hours while I work. Now I even do it at home. Never expected this but, I certainly have come to enjoy the banter and comraderie. And when LITY jumped in boy did things get interesting.

I still laugh at myself when I tell people about a particular question that got a big reaction out of me. I know I'm a lose rbecause I seriously have to look at this...and the dance section...every day. But what the hell.
