well your going to get traffic everywhere you go.the city has over 1 million people so its pretty hard to avoid it. people going to work incoming and outgoing traffic. at night going to games or concerts clubs or just going home you are going to have traffic. so if you do end up living here you will have to leave early. by the way dont go into the ghetto areas because you will probably get jumped.dont go to the gas statoins in the ghetto areas!!if you must get like 5 gallons and do not go inside. use a creditcard and leave immediately.it would be best to live in the greater h-town arealike cities on the outskirts of hoouston.the woodlands, richmond, stafford, sante fe, pearland friendswood, sugarland the radio stations are: (country) the new 93.0 Q but try 92.9 because you get better reception (classic rock)93.7 the arrow(alternative rock) 94.5 the buzz(jazz) 95.7 the wave(mix station) mix 96.5(rap)97.9 the box(light mix) sunny 99.1 - good for workplaces(country) 100.3 Kilt(mexican hip hop/rap) mega 101.1(r&b) majic 102.1 (pop) 104.1 KRBE(christian) 105.7(80's) 106.6 the point(oldies 60's and 70's) was oldies 107.5 now k-hits 107.5hope this helps

Depends where you are going to work. Stay close to your job. West side of Houston... Katy is nice. North side of Houston... Kingwood or the Woodlands are nice. East and South of Houston... ugly and they tend to flood. Sugarland would be okay.

Forget downtown Houston. High crime area. Mid-town is also downtown. They tear down some ghetto properties to put up condo's in this area. If you like living near the only Greyhound bus terminal in town then Mid-town is for you. For best schools stay in the far suburbs. Prudential Gary Greene is a good realtor in all areas. Clear Lake and Friendswood meets your criteria in the far southeast area towards Galveston.
