I am getting my CPSR 440 insurance sales agent liscence, and will be working for Allstate insurance, and in a few months I will get my morgage broker liscence and work as a loan officer for the same company.everyone that works at this company makes good money, and my boss says that I will make at least 50000 next year, but I have a hard time believing him until I actually start making money. So, I will start in one week, so when do you think i will start making some money?

depends on how good of a sales person you are and how many people that you know of that needs insurance. Starting will always be hard, but once you build your book of business you'll start growing and getting referrals.

I have my 220 P & C license and believe me, you have to be persuasive in sales . . . or you don't eat! When I worked in sales, I set my personal monthly goals. Generally the company has a number that they want you to meet, but I went above and beyond by setting my goal of getting 50 sales before the 15th of that month. Any time that you are able to do this, you know that you are going to have a beautiful check.I thought the 440 (your license) was for customer service only though.
