B & C are clearly incorrect. Licensed Real Estate Sales persons are almost always Independent Contractors. The licensed Salesperson must work under the supervision of a Licensed Broker, so the Broker can direct how work is done (to ensure it complies with all laws and regulations). However, if the Broker directs what work is done, the Broker has established an employer-employee relationship. So the correct answer is "D".
