People can host this on their own servers which is what at least some of them do.Another reason is simply because web hosting companys do not check (well, at least, most dont check.)Really the fight to take down child porn sites rests with the user (or so I believe). I have took down a dozen of sites in my time simply by telling the host. Most hosts are absolutly shocked and will take it down right then and their on the spot, cancel the members account, and inform the required authoritys.

I agree wholeheartedly. They should use this information to lock up all those sickos. Those who open the websites and those who visit them. Those poor, poor innocent little children being victimized by those total perverts. I think more should be done to protect them from those nasty, nasty predators. So so so so sad. Anyone out there listening who can actually do something about this??? Those victims today often become the predators of tomorrow. Sick cycle of abuse.

The legal jurisdiction of the US only reaches so far, up until its borders. Beyond that is beyond their control. Every country have their own set of laws dealing with child pornography.Even some First World Country allow it, to an extent. For example, child pornography was allowed in Japan until recently, around the 1990s, I think. Now Japan allow child pornography in form of drawings only, long as an actually child was not used, which is about the same as the United States (although no one is stupid enough to test this law here). The legality of this type of child pornography, aka lolicon, is currently being debated. Check Wikipedia for more information.

Great question! Much of the hosting is offshore, and run by ISPs that are criminal in countries that are run by organized crime. Then, also, those criminal enterprises use millions of bot infested Microsoft systems to DDOS any law enforcement activities. It's a cyber war.

I think because most of the child porn comes from other countries which the U.S. cannot control. People that get caught looking at this stuff just once should be executed.
