| One's mistress would not show up in a background check. Unless that business hires a private investigator to follow the possible employee around but that is very cost prohibitive. Believe it or not not all states keep comprehensive records of or are willing to disclose marriage / divorce information to the public or anyone for that matter without a notarized signed release from either the bride or groom. What state you are in makes a difference on this as well as what county. |
