| Hello good Ladies and Gents,I am planning to move back to the states in one of the following cities. I have lived most all my life in FRIGID and DULL Michigan. My criteria is lindicated below the list of cities. I ask you to advise me on any of the following cities that Imay appeal to me. Feel free to mention any city that belongs on this list. Please only sugestions meeting ALL my criteria. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!SeattleLas Vegas(Away from the strip-Gambling center)Henderson or Reno NevadaPortland Oregon, Birmingham AlabamaSacramento, San FranciscoMiamiI want the following criteria:-Good economy for new small business-Lots of shops and activities-Not less than 40 dg low avg in the winter-Acceptable environment to raise kids-Relitivly safe-Clean and no boarded up houses |

| I've heard that Birmingham is wonderful. The cost of living is low, crime rate is not very high and the weather is wonderful. |

| Personally, I would choose Seattle out of those choices ... I love Portland and the area, but I think that Seattle would have more to offer for a new small business. You would want to research which areas of the city/suburbs were best for kids/schools. I am only familiar with the western cities you listed.As far as the california cities ... I like visiting, but, well, having had adult children living in both, just prefer the northwest. Nevada has many of the same downfalls as California. |
