| [*I'm only referring to certain Christians who buys such things.]We've all heard of the "miraculous" manifestation of Jesus on grilled cheese sandwiches, the hospital windows with Mary, and Barbara points us to a driveway with JC's face:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar_TtlTgcSUFnIDUusmnhELd7BR.?qid=20070814144302AA0OqSHSo my question is, what items with a "miraculous" holy image would be impossible to sell? What if my used bathroom tissue manifested a nativity scene? What if a used prophylactic showed Jesus on the cross? I mean, would there still be people willing to buy this? |

| "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.""People can easily be persuaded to accept the most inferior ideas or useless products."-H. L. Mencken."There's a sucker born every minute."-P.T. BarnumI'm sad to say it, but yes, there will always be a buyer. I don't think it has much to do with religiousity or lack thereof. Make it bad enough and you might even find that a product like this would attract anti-religious people. |
