I pose this question as in the future I have an oppurtunity to join a company that will train me in this field.I however have limited IT skills and would like someone to tell me what I would need to study before I could begin to understand Citrix. If possible would someone be able to give me the quickest learning point from a-z as I am confused where to start and in what order I should learn things from. I.e should I learn basic microsoft xp skills or just go into MCP or MCSE. Please help Im very confused. Just as a background I work for an ISP trubleshooting e-mail, webhosting adsl leased line problems, so this is a different field altogether

No problem. Judging by the monkeys who "administer" the Shitrix servers where I work, you don't any skills or qualifications at all.

erm, you will need to be able to set up and configure as a minimum, windows xp, vista (as it becomes more prevalant), server 2003, exchange, etc etc. This is down to the fact that Citrix runs multiple desktops sessions on a single or multiple fileserver(s) and presents them through a browser. Its a good line to get into as demand for this kind of technology is growing in all market sectors due to the cops of keeping pc's working on desktops.
