Please No REALTORS need reply.Waited 5days to reject my offer. Other offers have NOT been accepted. Just does not make professional business sense.(and NO I am not moaning). If I was selling I would entertain ALL offers - Why not? What have you got to lose?

Lets say they owe 200,000 on their home. They are trying to get out of the home because of whatever reason. They offer it for 205,000. You offer 150,000 they are looking at it like crap to take this offer we have to come up with 50,000 to even close this deal. They wont even play that game with you. They have most likely started at almost the bottom they can take. What are they going to do counter back at the original sales price? Then you would be asking us why did they not negotiate. Whatever you offered doesnt work for them and it means to me they really cant negotiate. Its the prices the listed for or nothing. From what you said I bet you need to be within 1-2% of what they are asking for them to deal.

Although I am a Realtor, I am going to reply.I'm sure you had a drop dead date in your contract. If the seller waited until the expiration of the contract, that is up to them. What some people don't seem to get is that the seller controls the transaction. All I can do is give advice and do what the seller tells me to do. The reason that some sellers don't entertain all offers is that they are either not motivated to sell, or they are waiting for someone to offer their price. Maybe not great business sense in your opinion, but they aren't typically out a dime if the place doesn't sell, the Realtor pays for everything to market the house. That makes great business sense to some people.
