| Do the real estate agents have their own painting company they rely on, or like do they recommend to the homeowner a painting company? and does this happen alot where there's a house to for sell, but the house needs to be painted and the agents tell the homeowner to get it painted? sry if it isnt clear |

| Well it seems as though your asking if the real estate agent and the paint guy are friends. What happens is called networking since the real estate agent is always around some houses that needs painting he has a guy that does it cheap because of the bulk of work. Same as a real estate agent would keep a mortgage broker on speed dial incase his customer needs a loan.Hope it Helps |

| Good agents will always have a network of agencies to call upon. They may just refer business in hopes of getting referrals back or in my case we exchange referral info for 10% of the final bill.Inspection: $125...I get $12.50Apprisal: $350...I get $35.00Movers: $4000...I get $400.00Proofing a home against instects: $1200...I get $120I sell one of their recommended properties...My commision would be between $1750 and $3500 depending on the terms of the sale per $100,000 so I would pay my network agent...$175 to $350 for the lead.Hope this answers you question...11 years in the business. |

| In my area, it is illegal for a real estate agent to accept any sort of 'kickback' for recommendation of a specific service without full disclosure of same to the client involved. That may not be the case everywhere, however.I do keep lists of reputable and honest contractors for these types of services and will give them to a client upon request. However, I never recommend one specific contractor from the list. Clients are encouraged to shop around anyway, so that the selected contractor is one with which they feel comfortable. |

| I provide my sellers with a short list of contractors that I have come to rely on for a good price and quality service. Then I let them call whoever they choose. |

Good real estate agents have a network of people and companies for all needs that may be related to the buying and selling of real estate. It does amaze me, however, how many people either do not know, or do not care, about the rules, regulations or laws governing their industry.Aside from any State laws that may be in play, it is a violation of Federal Law to pay or receive kickbacks, or to participate in fee splitting. (RESPA section .(example of fee splitting: Inspector charges $150 & gives referral source ANYTHING OF VALUE/ but most commonly $$) |

| Well, I tell the clients about the few guys that I know and then they can always choose whosoever they want. However, most of the times I leave these things with the clients. |

A good real estate agent can make or break your deal. Real estate agents and bent property lawyers are just about the most hated and revilled people on earth and with good reason. I actually used to do VERY well, as a real estate agent, but because things were slow I turned my second home into a rental property and have since had a few sets of tenants now sign rental agreements.
Anyway just a thought, for real estate agents struggling to make ends meet.
Cheers, |

There are real estates out there that offer a package of services that include the selling, cargo trucks for transferring and also painting services for houses that need it. Those are companies which have shares or invested in the said real estate company. Well anyway, either they are joined together or not, the thing here is the painting services must be exemplary.
