| The banks COULD, but they won't. They have no desire, at least for individuals, to loan monies on properties overseas. The difficulties involved with a foreclosure, should one occur, are more than the banks desire to work with. |

| It is easier for the banks to finance a business company. However, when it comes to individuals there are risks which the banks aren't ready to take. Though you can always try to get money from a bank in the country you are investing. These banks usually have special lending rates for foreigners. |
