I'm going to take a flight from Texas to San Francisco in July 5th(Continental airline)and travel a little bit about a week....and then leave USA from L.A. to Taiwan (Eva airline) in July 13thOK. my question is how many luggage can I take from Texas to San Francisco?if I want to take 1 more luggage than I can. How much do I have to pay for it?how much does each luggage weigh from Texas to San Francisco?if it's only 50 pounds ,how much should i pay for overweight?and do I have to pay for it everytime I change the flight???...I mean transfer...(cuz I have to fly to Houston first and change the flight there to SFO)And if I want to upgrade my class from economy to first , how much should I pay?? , my class is "W"and how can I do to upgrade?

Excess baggage is very costly indeed also upgrading to first class you will notice a vast price difference. If you are a budget traveler and going to Taiwan. It would be cheaper to buy clothes there. Then you will not have to lug suitcases about.

All these questions are good questions for the airline you are taking. Every airline has different rules, especially for international flights. Check the airline website or call them.

free baggage allowance on Continental: 2 bags max 50# eachexcess: $80/pieceno clue on upgrading, but have a feeling you will have to trade in your W ticket for F ticket and pay the difference. Call your travel agent or Continental

If you upgrade to first class, you can have heavier luggage than flying economy and you may have the right to have one extra at no extra charge.check with each airlines, since they have their own rules.
