Because I felt insecure, I opened up a lot of investments. 2000 USD in mutual funds and I will add again another 1000 USD this Christmas since I don't want anything that depreciates like mobile phones. I still have more left in my bank account here in my place and abroad. I am even looking for a great business opportunity. I will keep on adding again and again. Maybe for my birthday again I will add in the funds. I am pretty much satisfied of the things I have. What I want is something that will appreciate greatly. People say that nurses earn lots of money............ Yet I feel very insecure.......... Maybe it is just that we have different definitions of being "RICH"? I define rich as one who works less and earn more and a nurse works hard to earn more? I will enter the real estate business real soon. Perhaps build hotels etc... just like my inspiration Donald Trump and some other investor businessmen like Bill Gates. Is my decision correct of investing more and should I be insecure?Besides the mutual funds here in my country, I also have mutual funds abroad and also, I was able to invest in a company seperate from the mutual funds and savings in which I expect to earn around 1000k+ USD monthly and I will add more to the funds. Besides that company, I will also use some of the money that I will earn from that company and invest in another company and will expect to earn a combined earning of around 4-5k monthly if these companies pay. I have business plans that I plan to apply when I already work in the US as a registered nurse. Anyway, I will still proceed to a profession of being a surgeon.I TOOK UP NURSING AS A COURSE IN COLLEGE. I AM 17. YET, I FEEL INSECURE. SHOULD I BE INSECURE?YOU SEE, I AM VERY CONFUSED SINCE I AM INTERESTED IN A VERY WIDE ARRAY OF TOPICS. COMPUTER COURSES SUCH AS IT, LAW, BUSINESS AND ENGINEERING ARE A FEW OF MY OPTIONS INCLUDING NURSING. SINCE PEOPLE KEPT ON TALKING NURSING AS ONE THAT HAS A VERY HIGH SALARY, I TOOK UP NURSING IN HOPES THAT I CAN BE, SHALL WE SAY, "RICH"... I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AS A SALUTATORIAN BEST IN MATH, SCIENCE and ECONOMICS AND HAVING MUCH MORE KNOWLEDGE IN COMPUTERS THAN ANYONE IN MY SCHOOL.........................................

You will make a good living as a nurse, but you won't be extremely rich. If you want to be extremely rich, you should study an area of business. Accounting majors and engineering majors make much more than nurses, at least in my experience. More importantly, you need to find something you love and are passionate about (honestly, do you like nursing?) Ask any extremely successful person, and they will tell you that they chose something they like. Its difficult to become rich if you dread your line of work. Put as much as possible in a well-diversified fund and go to college for something you love.The fact that you wrote additional info in caps won't change my answer. Nursing won't make you super rich.
