1. Type in about:config in the address bar.2. Enter in the search boxbrowser.search.defaultenginename3. Change value to Google.

yes, on the upper right hand corner there should be a search box, click the down arrow near the "Y" (yahoo) and change it to google.

When you start Firefox go into Tools > Internet Options and change the default search engine. If not there should be an arrow by the search bar up on Firefox 2 of the logo that you are currently using. Click that and go to Google.

in the search bar there is a Y for yahoo, beside that there is a small arrow, click it, and Google should be listed in the drop down menu, click it and you will now search with Google.If Google is not there, or if you want a different search engine click, Manage search enginesthis will help you in finding what you want.
