| The search engine has to call your page *something*. If you have a <title>sometitle</title> on your page, they ordinarily use that. You're *required* to title your pages, in order to be a legal HTML page. If you don't follow the rules, you oughtn't complain that they are doing something you don't like. |

| Yes, because this is the default name of your site. To change it, go to your title tags and insert the description of your site. The title is the part of the site that is in the blue part on the top of the page. Inside your html code, the tag looks like this: <title> Put your description here, use your keywords </title>. It also is important because the title shows up in the search engines and tells the search bots AND your human visitors what the site is about. So it will help with your traffic, getting people to click on your site.Jon |
