ok! the two generation ago honda civic si and civic sir are identical interms of body right? so what makes the sir different that the si the year 2000 models?? it definitely should be the engine or other things but how is it different? i already tried to figure it out through auto.msn.com but it doesnt have the siR model it just has the si one! i tried too google it too but it gives me crap! it doesnt answer what i search for!i also want to know how much the price for a 2000 honda sir should be around assuming fair codition?? i guess a little more that si right??

I thought the SiR was a Japanese/Canadian non US. The North American Civic Si had DOCH 160 HP; double wishbone suspension; leather steering wheel; leather stick shift and Honda rims. Maybe the SiR was the hatchback?

Im pretty sure the SiR was the non american version of the civic. It was only for Japan and Canada. I believe the SiR in Canada was the regular EX model here in the US.
