Does anyone have any pointers? I am in an seocontest and I am looking for help with Yahoo ranking. Does anyone have any really good tips to help with Yahoo ranking in particular. My site has rss feeds, a blog, and many backlinks and triangulated links, a great deal of constantly updated content. There are lots of companies that make a ton on SEO, and have some cool programs that help you with rankings.But the engine ops do a pretty good job banging down the techniques once they become known. Just look what happened with the google bombs.

You are already on right track...................I think you muss add 50 links for your website every months.........................Post small articles thrice a week..................and you will see your ranking climbing up in Yahoo...........For ranking high your website muss have that power of link and charisma of content updations................add relevant content on weekly basis.............One thing more do not go for building links blindly...........the website should be relevant to the theme of your website..........Juss be patient and keep doing the hard work..........you will soon see the results....................Best of luck for the Seo Contest................!
