| I'm currently a new teacher and it pays crap. I had a buddy who was a teacher who got out for this reaon , it wasnt enough to support a family. he went into car design. I am thinking of getting into Web design , 3d design, or perhaps graphics. i've always loved puppets, cartoons and education, so somehwer along these lines is my nitch. What should I be earning or what should I expect to earn in these fields? How long does it take to master web design and 3d? |

| It really depends on what you are doing and where but with your background the answer is somewhat better but not all that much. As for how long it takes to master Web Design, you can pick up the basics in a few hours but it should be weeks or months before you have the skills to create a saleable portfolio.Bottom line, best way to get these questions answered is this: schools get nowhere near the budget they need to function (as I'm sure you noticed). Someone in your system needs a web page, and the best web page they can get without paying real money. By being nice you can get tutoring, a sample to give people you want to work for, and quotes which will give you an idea of what the going rate is for this sort of thing in your area. |
