Lil Wayne took Gille the kid flow/delivery and to add to that if your the best rapper alive, you shouldn't be looking up to another rapper (Jay-Z) You should be looking down on him. I was a big Lil Wayne fan when he dropped the carter 1 but after Gille spilled the beans on him I said forget the dude. If he took Gille the kid flow/delivery then he may have a ghost writer... you never know. people that think Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive must be a groupie or don't know shit about the rap game. but if your from Lil Wayne area I don't blame you for saying hes the best rapper alive but the dude aint original. call me a hater call me a critic call me whatever but im a underground rapper and real rappers know when fake rappers are around real reconize real. lil wayne can rap but he aint original wit it. even his own brother b.g. dont even fuck wit dude like that. its too many good rappers out there, so there aint no best rapper alive...and the best rapper alive can be a ghost writer...

he's not, i'm a fan but sometimes he just babbles. i think that he's overrated and doesn't take rapping seriously. IDK about the whole gillie da kid thing but even if it's not lil wayne's flow, i'll listen to it because some of it is hot.the best rapper alive to me is between jay-z, nas, and (with his new album) chamillionaire. the reason i chose them is because their songs have a central idea/meaning other than being fly and having girls...

Yes i Think he is the best, B.G. is from the 3rd Ward, Wayne is from the 17th Ward, that's HollyGrove Niggas, B.G. is a whole different story. Also, The Reason why he is labeled the best rapper, is:1. He can spit on any ones beat and kill it.2. He is the Best "punchline rapper"3. He does not have a ghostwriter, when he was i think 11 years old, his mom caught him trying to get on with Cashmoney Records, so she took his book "rhymes" away from him, so from then on he stopped writing his stuff.4. Gillie Da Kid in his last interview if you haven't seen it yet, he states "Lil Wayne is The Best Rapper as of right now."5.
