i mean the only constant in this world is change. our dependence on oil/gas most of the automobiles are made out of the country and sold here for a profit. walmart buys all it products from china and sells them for a profit here. clothing products are made out of the country and sold for a profit. most of the usa coporate real estate is foreign owned all tv parts are from japan and sold for a profit. most of the jobs are being outsourced to india and companies here are making a profit . and what you worry most is immigration. my question to you is what are you going to do about all of the other factors affecting our economy.

Illegal immigration and immigration above what our schools, hospitals and services, and wages can support. As for globalistic trade practices, it is all a piece of the same cloth, and we need to address that as well.

I'm not opposed to immigration per se, just people taking advantage of our system and our generosity.

I don't oppose immigration!!!I only oppose illegal alien criminals (you know, those who get here by other- than- legal means). I certainly wouldn't head off to Australia without that country's consent, even if I was looking for a better life to do jobs Australians won't do. Please.Americans will do any job, we always did before, we still can. Besides, before the foreign invasion from mexico, America's citizens built America to be what it is. Duh.

I could pick at some details in your question, but I won't bother. Illegal immigration is the issue. Where our merchandise comes from is an issue, but a lot of it is our own fault. Illegal immigration is a weight on our society that it needs to be rid of. For the other issues, as I can, I buy American made material. On the fuels issue, people are not doing what they can to do more for themselves so right now, we are stuck with foreign oil. There are alternatives which I really do wish the people would seek out and start using.

I'm not opposed to immigration, that goes on in many countries throughout the world, what I'm concerned about ismass illegal immigration and the socio-economic impactit can have on communities, cities, and states that aren't prepared for a mass bums' rush of people.Just on the issue of water: Already, there are some citiesin the United States that are having problems providingsufficient fresh water to the public. So, what happens whenyou maximize the normal growth variable, there? What typeof urban planning will you utilize to ensure that your utilitiesdon't fail if your growth factor is X-plus. To put the question differently, let's say that your sewer/watersystem capacity is 25% more than average current use, according to your latest census. Unbeknownst to you, but knownst to the people sliding into town unannounced, your total actual population is 18% bigger than it waslast year, and as your best analysts try to figure out wherethe extra water is going, and why the treatment plant keepsbacking up, suddenly you get severe rainfall or a droughtor something. Would you support illegal immigration or be against it? Sitting around in the dark with dry water tapswould make you reconsider the old immigration policy, wouldn't it? Hmmm...
