| A judgment against me was filed in court in the year 2000. An "abstract" to that judgement was filed in the public record in 2001I paid ithe judgement in 2003. Yet on my credit report it states only : "Judgment filed in 2001." It does not state any judgment was filed in 2000.The FCRA seven year limitation ended in May of 2007, so no judgment can be recorded on my credit report now. But my credit report stiil says judgment filed in 2001. It has said so for six years. Is the report correct? if so, what happened to the 2000 judgment?Shouldn't the report have said "Abstract of judgment filed" instead of just "judgment filed?"Whew! Please help. I need to clear this up so I can refinance my home at a decent interest rate.P.S. the credit report says the judgment was satisfied in 2006 instead of 2003 adding more problems. I disputed this judgment many times and they still cant get it right |

| An abstract means that the judgment was microfilmed and the abstract provides a link to the microfilm records - has nothing to do with the judgment especially if it was satisfied. |
