I have applied for food stamps called my mort. company noone will help me. I have always worked. My husband suffers from ptsd so he cannot work. I am in debt up to my ears I feel like I will never be ok again with any chance for a life. The only thing that keeps me going is my son. I can't leave my husband I am afaid of what he will do. Is there any help for me, i can't refinance my credit score is too low and we do not make enouph money. I feel like I am falling deeper and deeper, what can I do.

I don't know if this will be any help for you, but, look up Social Services in your yellow pages, if they can't help you, they can probably direct you to who may be able to. Good Luck.

As for food stamps, if you tell them that you need food now, in some states instead of waiting for your food stamp card to come, you can sometimes get an emergency money. As for the disability claim, there is nothing you can do, but wait. I have a son that receives ssi. For bills you can go down to your local community action and churches and they sometimes have a program you can use to help with your bills. and right now a lot of states are helping with heating cost due to the rise in oil prices. I am be able to find more info out a little later. You can email me and I'll see if I can't find something in your state or area to help you. But I need to know more info. Good luck.
