I live an hour away in London. KWC is a nice area to live. The economy continues to grow, the weather in summer is hot and the winters are not bad, crime is average. Overall, a nice place to live although not as nice as London.

hi i lived there for about three months and the jobs are plentiful.. everywhere you look there is a help wanted ad. i mean as for what you are looking for as well , when i say everyone is looking for employees . as for economy well everything is quite expensive (housing , alot of property taxes as well.. i think its a great place to raise a family as there are alot of schools nearby , friendly people . the weather is just like any other in canada.. cold winters and warm summers. as overall quality of life.. well as a young adult i found it quite boring as there wasnt alot to do .. not for extra curricular activities anyway. crime( not alot at all in the suburban part i mean.. but downtown kitchener is awful.. alot of robberies. hope this helps

Well I've worked in all three, and lived in Kitchener for 20 years. Cambridge is an older town, there is an industrial sector but I find this city is best to visit. Waterloo has a good downtown core, but it's really geared towards univeristy students. Waterloo was actually named the top intelligent community in the world this year...look it up. There are 2 universities that lie within one street, and the Univeristy of Waterloo is well known for its Engineering department (with the founders of RIM graduating from there). Waterloo is a great city to be affiliated with....lots and LOTS of job oppertunities but I wouldn't choose to live there if I had the choice. Finally, Kitchener has many new subdivisions being built at the moment, and many many great public schools. The job market is fair, but with Waterloo a 15min drive away I wouldn't worry. Crime is crime....I mean unless you are living in a really run-down part of the city you won't be bothered. I have never had a problem. Weather is AMAZING in the summer, winters are cold but not horrible. It's very humid though. Kitchener does not have very many clubs...etc, but Waterloo has lots of festivals and a fairly good bar scene. However, I would say do not choose London, it may be pretty...but you are an hour away from most things. I've also had a chance to work for a short time in London, but found it to be very restricting. This city itself is not that big, and there is one University there, so less options. I think the central hub is KW...London is a lot further away from Toronto...and I can't tell you how many times I've had to get to TO. THere's aslo a bit more Lake effect snow. If you had to choose, I would choose Kitchener. Not the most exciting place in the world, but you're close to everything.
