| this project started in july of 2004 and was projected at that time to buy out in 2007 but now it has been pushed back 3 times and I have been waiting for this long to sell but now am wondering if and when it will really happen a road project that will take out my home and my property is bought out with some relocation perks but limbo is costing me the moving forward with my own living improvements I am getting married and as a married individual do not want to live here anymore with my wife nor does the room exsist on or in the property for a combined household nor should I have to move things twice as I see it because I have to wait for their schedule ( and obviously) it will not sell to another with this hanging over the home so what do or shall I do in this situation |

| I feel sorry for people in your situation and I see it all the time although most are actively trying to liquidate the property to someone else because they are likely to walk away with more money than what the government will give them for the house. I highly suggest you look into renting the house rather than fall under the belief that you have any power to make the government work faster. This way you can count your rental income in your debt ratio to buy another house and move on with your life. You might be able to scheme the "perks" if you continue to have the tax bill sent to the house which is the governments signal that you still live there. |
