OMG...,, Don't click on that link to cancel the payment! It is a phony email trying to get your info! NEVER follow a link to paypal. If you did and put info in there, scammers have it now. I got that exact email, but I went directly to paypal and checked my account and my account was fine. Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com

yes, this is a FRAUD known as SPOOF. report it to ebay. you will recieve a lot of those fake emails. the only way i check to see if it was legit or not was to click on their link and type in anything (sdhsadhfdegdgdeg)for the ID and password and it went through. that isnt my INFO.you wont need to report anything. they are only after your personal information. delete those emails and do not reply.

Did you contact your bank and tell them you didn't authorize the PayPal withdrawal from your account?Did you contact Pay Pal regarding the above message. It doesn't look like an official message from Pay Pal. Check it out.Copy and Paste it and send it to pay pal so they can research it for you.I never trusted Pay Pal, it seemed "too ideal" for people to hack into an account once they have one's PayPal information.

Looks like a fraudulent email. You need to forward the email to spoof@paypal.com to let them know that you did not authorize the transanction. They will respond and let you know if in fact somebody made these charges. For more info click on the link:https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_vdc-security-spoof-outside

I've had emails very similar to this. But I forwarded the email without clicking on the links. You did right to forward it to pay pal and the att gen. However you should never click on any links in a suspicious email especially dealing with things like pay pal. Anytime there is a suspicious looking email use your browser to type in pay pal.com and go to the website and go into your account to look for notices of activity on the account. Never click on a link that says it takes you to pay pal it may be a fraudulent website. You should email pay pal and let them know you followed the link (if you haven't told them already) and ask if there are any measures you should take to protect yourself. You may want to seriously consider canceling the credit card.
