In the past men like Alexander the great and Caesar controlled substantial parts of the globe without cars, planes, or modern technology. Given our current advances in technology I wouldn't be surprised whether someone , anti-Christ or not, could be able in theory to control the whole world under one government.Also, keep in mind, when you are talking about Revelations you are talking about an event with divine influence. The Word says that God will give ungodly men and women over to their own desires making it even easier for the anti-Christ to deceive those who aren't believers. Plus, there will most likely be world events that will have most of the world's population calling for safety and security, no matter the cost.

Yes because he will come out of the U.N. and talk only of peace he will control ten kingdom in which will control the world.The world will think he is God because he is wounded and the wound heal and then is worship and demands it with his false Prophet at his side he will go out to conquer the nations and forcing the mark on the right hands or foreheads of every person or they can't buy or sell and they will die ,but God Jesus stops him at the end
