A person who cared more, worked harder, and held such titles for example...say...Engineer, Realtor, General Contractor, maestro level musician/writer, would obviously have a deeper understanding of social dynamics (and therefore higher value opinions), than any combination of either lazy, undisciplined, or opportunistic vagabond types. And yet with all the extra effort, the best a prodigal visionary can do is negate the lame decisions of one nincompoop! Idiots will vote for "more for me now", without the ability to envision the consequences of their flippance. Is it possible that a a "feed the losers starve the winners", trend will one day lead us to extinction, simply because there are far more below average than above average people? also consider how the above mention high achiever, continually being passed over for any decent job opportunity (couldnt get pass the $10/hour job), and the resulting manisfestation of an "apathy, cheat, backstab, kissbutt, grifter orientated society. This question is about provoking thought towards the respect of integrity, not some deliberate self effacing, complaint strategy. "I have reached yet another level of mediocracy!"

You know, this type of argument would have gone over very well at a eugenics society. Maybe we should prevent the dirty masses from voting all together, and from breeding, and from eating. So long as higher education is easier for the rich to obtain, this basis will merely advance the social interests of the rich. Don't you think they have sufficient means to make their opinions known already?

You're arguing in favor of a meritocracy. Even the Greeks rejected that idea as it treats as insignificant the fact of human existence being the only rational and moral qualifier for equal participation.

Why is it that so many "Superior" people claim to be robbed of their chances in life when life is (even to those of us that are not superior) what you make of it?BTW, who is to determine who is superior?
