You have spyware on your machine.Go to this link:http://www.safer-networking.org/and download Spybot Search and Destroy and run it on your machine. It should fix just about everything that is SpyWare related.Don't send it in for service or start calling people that'll charge you by the hour. This is absolutely fixable yourself.

Sounds like a malware problem. Get AdAware from Lavasoft and turn it loose on your machine, and see what it comes up with.

You have a highjacking software virus. Easy to fix. Try the easiest method and restore your PC back to a time when it worked properly. Last, if that does not work, reformat your PC. It will take you much less time to do rather than trying to manually remove it.Restore - "Start, Programs, Accessories, System, Restore"

It is most likely because you have downloaded something that had the different search engine attached to it and you probably didn't realize. The best way of getting rid of this is by going to Add/remove programs and removing the Search Engine provider e.g bizrate, and this should resolve your problem

Are you running an Anti-Virus program? And it did not catch the spywear / virus? Go to AVG and get their free 30 day trial of Internet Security Suite 7.5, and download it. Go to your control panel and uninstall your current Anti-Virus program. Reboot your computer.Install the AVG, get it's updates, and run a full system scan. Then visit http://www.rimcs.com/Security.htm and follow the 7 fixes on a monthly basis, and use Firefox or Opera and not Internet Explorer.
