I am working on my MBA, but i dont have one. I am planning to apply for H1B through a sponsoring company. What is the probability that i get H1B visa? Is there any kind of distribution of allocated quota? if yes, what percentage is allocated to people majoring MBA and working in the financial services industry?

You have no chance if you apply because individuals can't apply. It's up to the sponsoring company to file the application, bear the cost and do all the paperwork. Assuming you get a company to file the application for you it could take years to get a visa. Last year's quota was filled in just three days. Applications are selected at random. There are no quotas for sectors of the economy.IMHO a company in the financial services industry is going to have a heck of a time getting a Labor Certificate to prove no American is available for the job they have for you.

As Yak Rider said: You cannot apply for yourself. A U.S. employer must petition for you.The current fiscal year's quota was filled in just three days. H1B visas are limited to 65,000 a fiscal year. Applications are NOT selected at random. They are processed in chronological order. First in, first out. However, Premium Processing Service provides faster processing of certain employment-based petitions and applications. Specifically, USCIS provides 15 calendar day processing to those who choose to use this service or USCIS will refund the Premium Processing fee and the relating case will continue to receive faster processing.
