| Search engines can only get you so far. For example, most scientific papers are held by databases such as Wiley InterScience and you need to pay to read them... when all you're looking for is a single numerical statistic, such as the melting point of some obscure compound. |

| Well no not really, there are users who need help with things that you can't get off a search engine. Email,messenger etc. that maybe we have had experience with and found solutions. I do agree there a many questions here that don't belong. Like do you think I'm pretty, do you like my avatar, does your avatar look like you, what is your favorite color, the list goes on. But there is help here. I know I have found answers here when I didn't know who to ask. |
