Seems the Examiner may have flubbed that Halloween Embarcadero story. According to SF Gate blog City Insider, the mayor’s office is citing some “crossed wires” over the whole thing. Oct. 31 is Friday, and Sunday Streets is called Sunday Streets for a reason. To be fair, though, the mayor’s spokesman wouldn’t say the paper was “wrong” to say that Gavin said they were planning it.
